The first phase of the project is all about nailing down the direction of the brand and fine tuning the strategic plan on how we are going to achieve your desired outcome throughout the project. We'll get together early on to hold a strategy session where we'll drill into all of this so that we have a super clear path forward.
We dive head first into the branding portion of the project first as this allows us to really hone in on the target audience and characteristics of the brand. This also means you get to start using or at least teasing your new branding whilst we get to work on the larger portion of the project.
Whilst I'm designing your new brand identity you can get to work on your 'client homework'. This is you time to curate images and write the copy for your website. Don't worry I provide you with clear guidelines on what to include on each web page. You'll also have enough time to organise any photoshoots or product photography if you so desire.
Once I have your copy and content for the website I'll get to work creating a wireframe of your website. Once this is ready I'll send it through for you to review. This is the time to really focus on the story each page is telling, you'll also be able to make minor adjustments to the copy or move any images around if need be.
Once the wireframes are finalised it's time to transfer these into Showit. I'll develop the full website, implement any transitions or effects, add in all necessary links and complete an in depth quality assurance audit to ensure everything is working as it should be. I'll then send you a link for you to review the website in it's entirety.
Once the website is finalised and your final invoice is paid, I'll transfer the website into your own Showit account and work with the Showit support team to configure your domain and blog. As part of the handover you'll get a training video walking you through the backend of your website and showing you how to make edits etc. Then it's LAUNCH TIME, BABY!
A project timeline was defined at the beginning of the project and is outline in your Strategy Proposal and deadlines are provided on each of your allocated tasks.
Communication is key during our time working together. If you ever have questions or need clarification on anything, do not hesitate to get in contact with me via your client dashboard chat or email.
Providing clear and constructive feedback is your primary role during the design phases. To assist with this be sure to read the Constructive Feedback Guide on the Guides page to understand best practices.
